Speciality: completely inept at things mechanical –
this takes skill!
About myself: Classic “Late Life Racer” –
had sailed racing yachts competitively for many years and always
wanted to switch to land and race cars. Thought “if I don’t
get around to it soon, I’ll be too damn old” so I
started in early 2003 at the tender age of 56.
Still learning the ropes, the line around Mosport and which
end of the car goes at the front, but having great fun in doing
it, thanks to all the helpful advice from my VARAC colleagues.
