Race Car: 1968 MGB, #246
Race Class: Historic Production Sports Cars
Significant Other: Brenda
Offspring: Jodi, Melanie, and Stacey, all married and gone.
Real Job: Sales and Marketing Manager in the automotive
aftermarket.
Racing History: Involved in motorsport in one way or another for over 30 years,
but only occasional participation for a long time as the focus had to be on a growing
family and making a living. Previous activities include driving in regional and performance
rally events, stockcar racing, and solo. I also had the good fortune to be involved through
my job, with teams in the Toyota Atlantic and Trans-Am series for several years during
the 90's. Started road racing in 2001, initially in a couple of races with a friend's FV1200.
After the restoration of the MGB was finished after 29 years of storage, she was reintroduced
to racing at the Mosport Celebration in 2001.
About myself:I am a very keen car guy who also enjoys
playing golf and squash. Blessed with a great family, now including
3 grandchildren, who are very supportive of this racing lunacy
making it all the more fun.
