Walter Wolf to take Part in the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Formula 1 at Mosport.
The Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada (VARAC) today announced that prominent Canadian
Business and Sportsman, Walter Wolf will be on hand for the 40th Anniversary of Formula 1
Celebrations at Mosport June 22-24. Wolf financed and headed the Canadian based Wolf Racing team
from 1976 to 1979. During the four years the cars competed for the world championship
they were driven by such stars as Jacky Ickx, Jody Scheckter, Keke Rosberg, James Hunt
and Bobby Rahal
The best season was 1977 when Scheckter won the Argentinean, Monaco and Canadian Grand Prixs.
With Walter Wolf in attendance and three of the Wolf Formula 1 cars among the growing list of entries
the Wolf name is sure to be center stage at this years fortieth anniversary of F1 at Mosport.
With the entry list building and enthusiasm growing this promises to be one of the highlights of
